Jim Degnan oversees the professional services involving accounting, computer systems consulting, data base design, custom report writing, software training, and business advisory services. Jim represents several leading software companies as a certified consultant with a sole focus on the legal industry.

He gained extensive law office experience as the Executive Director of a major law firm in Jacksonville, Florida where he was responsible for implementing new computer systems for word and data processing. He developed financial reporting systems around a profit center philosophy and assisted in the development of a partner compensation system tied to measurable profits. He has been providing consulting services to law firms since 1986 and his clients number in excess of 500 law firms.

His background includes an extended career with Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) as well as key financial management positions in private industry. He began his career with Price Waterhouse in Rochester, New York and later transferred to its Jacksonville, Florida office. His responsibilities provided exposure to hundreds of businesses engaged in diverse industries, including Fortune 500 clients as well as small businesses.

Jim has been a continious member since 2003 of Software Technology’s (STI) prestigious President’s Circle, a recognition awarded annually to the “…top tier of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster resellers and consultants for consistently providing a high level of installation, training, and support services to their  clients,” according to Dan Berlin, President of STI. Jim was also recognized as the Top Reseller of Tabs3 software in several categories spanning several years.

He is a retired CPA in Florida and is a past president of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Jacksonville Chapter. He has authored articles published in Legal Administrator, the American Bar Association Journal, Legal Economics, Law Office Technology and the Jacksonville Business Journal.


David Moon

David Moon graduated from Georgia Tech with an Master of Science –Electrical Engineer in 1993. While attending Ga Tech, he was a founding father of the Ga Tech Delta Chi fraternity which rapidly grew top chapter in the National Fraternity Organization.

Upon completion of his degree, David started Lan-Tech, Inc, a company speculating in legal technology for law firms. The business grew to include some of the prominent law firms in Atlanta.

David Moon has received a number of certifications and awards through out the year. He is currently an STI Tabs3 President Circle Member. In 2005, he was the recipient of the Legal Technology Consultant of the Year (a life time achievement award). He has certifications in Summation, Concordance, Time Matters, Billing Maters, Citrix, Tabs3 and Practice Master.

Over the years, David has consulted with attorneys as an expert witness in computer technology and legal software.
